                      Phase One:

January 2013 - December 2014

Budget needed: US$66,000.00 (Sixty six thousand United States dollars)

Within the year 2013-2014 the Church hopes to achieve the following:

1. Build the church’s edifice on the Caldwell property, behind E.T.M.I.

This project has already begun and will need the amount of US$20,000.00 (twenty thousand United States dollars) to complete. This money includes buying of zinc (at least twelve (12) bundles), building the cement walls, and erecting doors and windows. This amount includes tires on the floor of the church.

2. Establish an International Standard Elementary, Jr. and Senior High school on the one lot of land we now have. Due to the fourteen (14) years Civil war in Liberia, most children became either Orphan or half Orphan.  Some stay with both parents but due to economic situations, the parents cannot afford to pay their school fees, therefore, they roam the streets with no hope of quality education.  We as a church would like to be a light in their dark world by providing them quality free education.  And since we have one lot of land, we would like to start the first school.

This project will cost us at least US$30,000.00 (thirty thousand United States dollars). See attached the breakdown of the school plan and cost.

3. We would also like to add a computer literacy school.  It may surprise you that in this era of compute-technology, there are kids in Liberia who don’t know the difference between a 14’ Television and that of a desktop computer.  Some have never even seen what is called computer.  There are even adults at age 50 who don’t have computer knowledge. We want these people to access the digital world and so we would like to provide them what we call the Compulsory Computer Program where every child at age 7-18 will have computer knowledge.

The computer school project will cost us at least US$6,000.00 (Six thousand United States dollars).  Note: This amount is only the construction cost of the building but we depend on individuals and or organizations to donate twenty (20) pieces of desktop and at least ten (10) laptop computers to be used in the school.  We will accept either brand new computers or used ones that are still in good conditions.

4. During this time (2013-2014), we will build the church up both Spiritually and numerically through the following:

a. Revivals b. Crusades c. Tarry Nights d. Youth retreats e. Personal evangelism “Each One Reach One”.  f. Conferences g. Bible studies.

Note: The current membership of Christ International Church as of February 2013 is 38-60 persons every Sunday.  By December 2014, with the above outreach programs put in place, we expect to have a membership of between 400-600 active Disciples of Christ in our church.

To implement these outreach programs mentioned above, we will need at least US$16,000.00 (Sixteen thousand United States dollars) in two years. This includes buying of all the musical equipments and instruments, electrical appliances we will need to do out and indoor programs. This amount also includes printing of flyers, billboards, handbills, invitation cards, transportation for outreach team and buying of resources. A set of musical instruments in Liberia costs US$3000.00 (three thousand United States dollars).

Phase two:   2015-2018

Budget needed: US$ 230,325.00 (Two hundred thirty thousand three hundred twenty five United States dollars).

During this period we will be undertaking the following projects:

  1. We will buy at least ten (10) acres of land to build the Church’s national headquarters.  Right now in Liberia an acre of land cost US$3,200.00 (Three thousand two hundred United States dollars). This means ten (10) acres of land will cost us US$32,000.00 (Thirty two thousand United States dollars). To survey and probate the land will cost us US$700.00 (Seven hundred United States dollars).  The grand total to purchase the ten (10) acres of land will be US$32,700.00 (Thirty two thousand seven hundred United States dollars).
  2. We will build the Church’s Headquarters (three store building) with a seventeen (17) rooms high school attached. This school cost US$52,325.00 (Fifty two thousand, three hundred twenty five United States dollars). This includes from foundation to finishing level but not including instructional materials. See attached the school plan and estimates. The labor cost is 20% of the total cost of the project which is US$7,869.41.  With the labor cost added to the construction cost, the grand total for the combined school and church project will be US$60,332.11 (Sixty thousand three hundred thirty three United States dollars and eleven cents.). Details of the school project can be found on the church’s website: www.christinternationalchurch.webs.com and check the project link.
  3. With this ten (10) acres of land, we will be able to build an orphanage home to help war affected children and less fortunate children in our society.  The Orphanage home is estimate at US$15,000.00 (Fifteen thousand United States dollars).
  4. We will also build eight (8) housing units containing three (3) rooms each. Each the units will cost us US$10,000.00 (Ten thousand United States dollars); that means the eight (8) units will cost US$70,000.00 (Seven thousand United States dollars).
  5. Our church is located in an area with a population of close to 10,000 (ten thousand) inhabitants but this area does not have a nearby hospital.  We would like to build a clinic to help community and church members.  This project will cost us US$50,000.00 (fifty thousand United States dollars) to construct a ten (10) rooms clinic which will serve the community. We look up to donation to get medical equipments, drugs etc.
  6. We would like to also build a Bible School which will carter to the training needs of those young ministers we will send out for church plant.  And the school will also help pastors, and church workers in Liberia who cannot afford the high cost of Bible Seminaries. The construction of the Bible School will cost us US$20,000.00 (Twenty thousand United States dollars).
  7. During these five (5) years we would like to plant at least three (3) branches of the church in rural Liberia. This will cost us at least US$12,000.00 (Twelve thousand United States dollars).  With all the projects mentioned implemented, we expect the church’s membership to increase to at least 1500-2000 active membership.
  8. Finally, our miscellaneous expense in the five (5) years will be US$10,000.00 (Ten thousand United States dollars).

Grand total budget needed in five (5) years: US$ 320,700.00 (Three hundred twenty thousand seven hundred  United States dollars).

Sources of Income:

  1. Tithes and offering:                      $ 12,000.00

With an increase in the church’s membership, and good biblical teaching on tithing, we expect our members to pay their tithes and offering and contribute the amount of US$12,000 in five(5) years.

  1. Fund Raising programs:               $ 20,000.00

The church will undertake fund raising rallies, locally and internationally, dinners, cake sale and other fund raising programs to help support the projects.  We need partners who can help us organize and support such fund raising programs.

  1. Donor Aids (Int’l & local):          $230,000.00

We also look up to some group and individual donors who can identify with us in making this dream a reality.  If you or some friends you know would like to be a help in implementing any of the above project, we will highly be appreciative.  We look forward to hearing from you soon.

  1. Church business:                          $  10,775.00

Liberia as a post war country is a good place for business.  The church has identified some businesses which we can do to generate income in support of our projects.  We would like to engage in businesses that will sustain our future project and not always looking up to donor aid.  Among the many businesses we have identified, we high light: a. Gold mining business

b. Transportation business c. Food (Restaurants) and d.  agriculture.  In whatever way you can help us get started in this light, we will be glad.  God bless you and use you as a medium of blessing to Liberia and Christ International Church-Liberia.

  1. NGOs & Government donations: $  21,550.00

If you know any Non-Governmental Organization and charity institution(s) that would like to help us, kindly forward this information to them so that we can start working together as a team.  If you will need us to travel to your country to better plan some fund raising, and meet the donors face to face, we are available at your invitation.

Total:                                                  $ 274,325.00

(Two hundred seventy four thousand three hundred twenty five United States dollars.)
